today, my mind was full of SL man.

when i entered the room, i was smiling and waving enthusiastically

but NOBODY RETURNED A WAVE OR A SMILE..

so glad that i made friends with my 3rd partner named joyce.

the 1st one was damn scary...

cause i can speak a lil Cantonese and listen to Cantonese ma..

den i was like asking .. 'how old are you?'

but she never reply.. -.-..

den her friend translate for her then ask her.

den she say 'seventy plus..'

then i ask her friend how old, then shes 86

LOL then she commented on my dimples.. she say 'you've got pretty dimples. ^^'

'take good care of your skin, dont apply too much pressure when you're washing face, if not you'll have wrinkles when you're old..'

nice right?.. xD

then weiyan ask me if i want to serve food for them, but by the time i finished wearing my gloves, all had their meals right before them ==!!

then i go back and talk to the 1st one,,

in canto,

me : is the food delicious? =)

she: *looking down* if it wasnt nice, would i still be eating it?

me: silence *walks away

then i talk to the others who are able to speak in english LOL. my dialect jialat manz...

ohoh. after that, i served milo and kopi,

i ask the first one

in canto

me: do you want kopi or milo?

she: *murmured sth*

me : clueless

ask her friend,

me : do you want kopi or milo?

she : milo =)

me : *passes milo

she: thank you =D

i asked back the 1st friend,

me: ah, auntie you want kopi ar?

she: just now i say i want kopi alreayd, you still say you know how to listen to cantonese.

me: *QUICKLY PASSES KOPI OVER AND RUN*

damn LOL.

afterwards, i went to discuss with weiyan jack bryant about my friendly partner LOL

den jack suddenly 'OMG'. then i ask him what happen, den he say

'your partner threw the food out the window after eating..'

me - O_O:"!

ahh, then later on,

then when we're singing part of marik kita, some alreayd going onto their wheelchair , leaving their room alreayd, LMAO.

then then, each of us is assigned to one partner,

i got mine, her name's joyce =)

she's catholic, her mum's Eurasian, that explains her good command of english.. -.-

she's 66 and has one son, still single, her dad's an asian,

then we're supposed to take our partner for a walk around the area ma,

then yeah, i ask her,, so did the previous batch of students bring you out to walk too?

den she say 'no..this is my first time walking out of this area..'

wah,, den my heart went soft...

den LOL, she's still very healthy lo,

then we keep leading LOL :P

then then, she said it was going to rain soon,, and yeah,, the clouds were slightly greyish,,

so everyone walked to a HDB flat and rested there for awhile,

then i massage her back, my best talent...

[haha i always do it for my lovely grandmother and my parents since i was young, but for my dad was abit hardcore == , cause i stand on his back and walk around]

hahah , then joyce was very happy =)

den the worker told her 'wah! you've got a very good partner hor!'

then luckily it didnt rain..

i was really thankful that the weather didnt turn us down...seriously..

so i held her hand, and together we walked to the market area,,

both of us keep 'freestyle' lo,

and by freestyle , i mean that we anyhow walk, never follow the crowd LOL..

den i told her got muruku, den pointed to her to which muruku is the nicest

LOL, den i ask her 'are you allowed to buy ? o.o'

then she say 'yes ^^'

den i ask her what she want,, wanted to buy for her then

she fish out her purse,

WAH THEN ALOT OF CASH LO LOL!!

hahaha, then bryant behind me, damn funny sia, his partner wheelchair bound , then he push until very funny LOL, then his partner tell him that she wanted the muruku also LOL,

damn funny lo, alot of people bought the muruku, but when bryant took out the muruku,

[it was stapled to a board so he had to detach it]

den after taking it out, the partner say she dont have $

den bryant also dont have $

LOL. BEST.

then end up never buy LOLL!!

but i lent him my wallet laa, let his partner buy sth,

wah, den joyce walk damn fast,

when i was lending bryant $

i turn and see my partner far away LOL,

so brought her to a fruits stall,,

see see,, den she dont want, she say those wrapped slices of fruits arent fresh,,

den i told her the jackfruit very heaty,, dont eat too much,,

then she agreed :)

den went to see other fruits store,,

i ask her if she want the super red apple,

then she see see, then take two,, then after that purchase two chinese pears too

then after that U-turn,

we go fitness corner,

sit and chatted awhile,

i ask about her daily routine,,

and discovered that they wake up early in the morning for morning tea,,

then after that wash up..

then go to their indoor mini gym..

then afternoon tea..

then ,, eat dinner at 5pm..

turn in at 9/10pm..

quite sad lo..

repetition.

then brought her to exercise,

LOL damn cute man,

cause she dont know how to use the equipment, then the worker like place her foot nicely on the equipment then ask her to kick her foot using muscles,

then she literally use her foot and kick the thing LOL adorable!

then after that i also played with the equipment,,

den chat chat~

OH! btw you know , i ask bryant what his partner bought

then he give the 'i-dont-know' face

then after that,,,

we walk back to the old folks home,,

then she say .. 'this is the first time i've seen the gate opened..usually its closed..'

me : 'so its a rare opportunity for you to come out ? ..'

she : 'yeah... we dont ever go out..'

wah ,, then my heart simply shattered man ..

den when we past the gate, she said

'this gate is always closed,, and there will be cats playing around here.. '

then she pointed to me the cats' big cage.

den i ask her .. 'so how many people is assigned to one room?'

then she say '4 people'

luckily theres people to accompany each other lo..

hmm,,

then .. after that,, took some pics with reen the ninja,

then afiq said some last words for them then jack's partner cried ..

omg.. i feel so sorry for them..

then part of the speech was like 'i hope you all have enjoyed our trip outside.. '

then after the speech, a warm applause was heard in the room man..

i think everyone enjoyed it since they are unable to go out..

sigh,

den i waved good bye to everyone,

cause he lives 2 blocks away,,

else i would've been drenched all over..

ahh.. super hungry now..

damn i caught a cold,,
